Our skills for fine food, gracious style and luxurious comfort combined with friendly and courteous staff is renowned by locals and residents alike. The restauarant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Our 100-seated restaurant has an adjoining private dinning room, The Green Room, which seats a further 50 guests. We cater for a wide range of parties from intimate weddings to birthday parties, Christenings, and confirmation and communion parties.

Our traditional themed bar offers the best of hospitality where a relaxing drink or meal can be enjoyed. The old style charm heightens the tranquil ambience. Bar food is offered daily between 12 and 9pm.

The name Thurles is anglicised from the Irish word Dúrlas Éile, meaning a fort, or more correctly Dúrlas Éile UÍ Fhogartaigh, the strong fort of the O'Fogarty's which was part of the early O'Fogarty stronghold which includes the region of Templemore and Devils Bit. Thurles, the Cathedral town, is surrounded by the Silvermines which are mountains to the north-west and the Slieveardagh Hills to the south-east. The town itself nestles in the heart of the beautiful Suir Valley. The mild climate and the waters of the River Suir have combined to produce some of the finest agricultural land in the world.
